Hola, I'm Tacy!  

I love good food.  I find great pleasure in reading cookbooks. I love having a repertoire of dishes I am good at making. That's what this space is for. This blog exists so that I have somewhere that I can look up my recipes.


I grew up eating healthy food. My Mom always shopped the local Farmer's Market and grew many vegetables in her garden. My Dad is a physician - needless to say vegetables were held in proper esteem.

I'm not a gardener, and I also think it's important not to take eating too seriously. I have tremendous respect for people who eat the food that they grow. I respect the Real Food movement and I'm into sustainability. I'm also not about making food, diet, and nutrition the only thing I think about.

I don't grow my own food, and I shop sales at the "normal" grocery stores. I am a big fan of intentional eating-- meaning, saving time, money, and sanity by meal planning and thus, eating well.

These are the meals I make over and over again. I love trying new things, so you might see an occasional newbie, but for the most part, these are my standbys. I hope to add to it as I make more of the food my family and I love to eat.
